Kara Trella writes books inspired by the mysteries and magic of life and love. A romantic through and through, she earned degrees in both creative writing and library science to ensure she’d forever be surrounded by story. 

In addition to writing, Kara is also an editor and finds it deeply rewarding helping others navigate their creative process.

When she’s not weaving words and worlds, she’s finding any excuse to be outdoors, and enjoys practicing yoga, running, growing flowers, and stargazing.

In the event both muse and weather fail her, she’s likely curled up somewhere tackling her obnoxious TBR pile, having a kitchen dance party, or watching something that makes her laugh.

She grew up in a small town in the Pacific Northwest and currently resides in the Evergreen State of Washington with her husband, son, two cats, and Australian Labradoodle.
